Confident With Your Application and Results?

If you have done your research during the year and feel confident about your results, well done! You will soon know the results of your SATAC application.

As you may already know, the cut-off scores for entry are affected by the demand for university places, so the higher your results, the better your chances. However, there still cannot be a guarantee for entry into a Commonwealth-Supported Place, especially in competitive degree programs. You should always ensure that your preferences give you options. See the Pathways by Study Area section for some hints on how to get in to your dream program. If you have any more questions, please contact us via The University Contact Centre.

Things to Consider

Once you have considered your preferences and responded to your offer, there are some vital things for you to consider in between now and the start of the university year in February.

Scholarships

The University of Adelaide has a huge range of scholarships, many of which are open for application now or in coming months. We offer a number of scholarships that are targeted at high achieving students, such as the University of Adelaide Adelaide Undergraduate Scholarships (worth over $10,000), Principal's Scholarships and other Undergraduate Scholarships

Research your scholarships options early, and apply for as many as you are eligible.

Accommodation

Our Accommodation Service provides guidance and a range of accommodation options for students who need to move. Visit their website, if you haven't already – it contains valuable information on University accommodation, Residential Colleges and other options in Adelaide.

Enrolment and Orientation

All students at Adelaide enrol online. New students receive a Welcome Pack which includes details on Enrolment Information Sessions for you to attend and other useful information to help you settle in.

Information will also soon be available about Orientation Week and the extended orientation period in semester one. O'Week is not only a great time to meet new people and familiarise yourself with Adelaide Uni; it's a lot of fun! Check the First Year Students website for regular news and updates.

Adelaide Abroad | Study Exchange Program

Adelaide Uni has a large range of partner institutions overseas (somewhere around 130 at last check) that we have exchange agreements with. This means Adelaide Uni students have many choices about countries to go to and universities to study at. This opportunity is available to students who have completed one full-time year of study with at least a credit average.

Explore the Adelaide Abroad website for further details – you might like to start planning now!
