There are a variety of options for those who want to be in these degree areas but might be currently missing a SACE prerequisite subject or have an ATAR that was lower than expected.
For more details please visit our Sciences Future Undergraduate Students page. For information about SACE prerequisite entry requirements that relate to the degree that you are interested in, follow the green FAQs tab in the bottom right hand corner.
If you have successfully completed an AQF Certificate IV or higher, you may be eligible for both entry and credit into defined bachelor degrees.
A TAFE/VET pathway can provide a helpful stepping stone into university study, facilitating a smooth transition into higher education.
The University of Adelaide, in partnership with TAFE SA, has more than 250 credit pathways available. An increasing number of degrees offered by the Faculty of Sciences offer credit pathways. For example, a graduate holding a Diploma of Food Science and Technology will be guaranteed 12 months credit into a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science, considerably reducing the remaining study load required to complete the degree.
Please check out our non-school leavers' information for TAFE/VET applicants.
