angela

Anglea Rabanus - German
Angela is a native German speaker who studied English and Spanish at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. Passionate about all things German, Angela has taught the language for PCE since 1983 and has been tutoring German at the University of Adelaide since 2005. An experienced adult educator, she adopts a teaching style that is motivating and highly engaging.
Angela returns to Germany every 2 to 3 years and has close contact with family and friends, staying in touch with political, social and cultural developments.

Emiko Kobashi - Japanese
Emiko Kobashi holds a bachelor degree in Linguistics from the International Christian University in Tokyo. Highly experienced in developing effective teaching methodologies for non-native learners of Japanese, her classes are always energetic and lively. A teacher with PCE since 2005, Emiko's sound understanding of the needs of the adult learner, her enthusiastic delivery and creative content is acknowledged and appreciated by her students. She travels to Japan annually, and stays in touch with current cultural trends and traditional practices through participation in local community organisations such as the Japan and Australia Friendship Association and the Japan Community Association.

Lili Liang - Chinese
Enthusiastic and passionate about adult teaching, Lili has taught at PCE for over a decade. Her infectiously positive personality and engaging teaching techniques have inspired many to continue with their study of Chinese and to further their pursuit in related fi elds. A frequent traveller to China and other countries where Chinese is spoken, Lili offers students a broad and interesting perspective on the use of the language in various parts of the globe as part of her teaching. She is also involved inn local cultural activities within the Chinese community, in Adelaide, and beyond.
