
The Prime Minister's Australia Asia Endeavour Awards
The Prime Minister's Australia Asia Endeavour Awards are elite scholarships for the very best university students to spend 6-12 months in Asia as part of their degree, followed by an internship or work placement in Asia. The Awards are open to Australian undergraduates and postgraduates in any field of study.
The Awards are very generous: up to $53,500 for an undergraduate and up to $63,500 for a postgraduate.
The Awards are for study in any of 10 Asian countries: China (including Hong Kong and Macau), India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
There are 20 undergraduate and 20 postgraduate awards nationally each year – in the three rounds since the Awards were introduced, University of Adelaide students have won 8 of these Awards (6.6%).

An information session about the PM's Awards was held on the North Terrace campus on Friday 18 May 2012 at 12.10pm. The venue was the Council Room, located on level 7 of the Hughes Building (next to Hub Central). If you missed that session and are interested in these Awards, please contact Andrew Bain ASAP. Draft applications should be completed by Monday 4 June 2012. Applications for this year's round close on Saturday 30 June 2012.
