Head of School Appointment Policy and Guidelines (Unrevised)

Overview:

Heads of Schools are appointed to lead and manage a School of the Faculty and to make an effective contribution to the overall management of the Faculty. The Head of School reports to the Executive Dean.

The Policy prescribes that the process for appointing a Head of School will be a selection process. The process can be limited to internal staff or open to staff outside of the School, including outside of the University.
