Rehabilitation Policy & Guidelines (Unrevised)

Overview:

The Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986 provides specific obligations on employers relating to the provision of vocational rehabilitation to employees who incur work-related injury or illness. The University of Adelaide is committed to providing occupational rehabilitation to employees who incur work-related injury or illness that meets, as a minimum standard, the requirements of this legislation. The University also undertakes to provide occupational rehabilitation to employees who have a disability that affects their capacity to perform their normal work duties or suffer non work-related injury or illness.
