Policy on Cheating in Examinations and Related Forms of Assessment (Unrevised)

Overview:

This policy outlines the principles on which the University's position on cheating in examinations and other forms of assessment are based. The accompanying Guidelines outline the procedures to be followed in dealing with cases of cheating in examinations and other forms of assessment. Attached to the policy and guidelines are the Faculty Plagiarism and Cheating Notification Form and proforma notification letters for students involved in incidents of cheating in examinations.

The principles and procedures for dealing with cases of cheating in examinations and other forms of assessment were previously covered in the University's Policy Statement on Plagiarism, Collusion and Related Forms of Cheating, now re-titled the Plagiarism Policy and available at http://www.adelaide.edu.au/policies/230/
