Plant and Equipment Safety Management Policy and Procedure (Unrevised)
Overview:
The University of Adelaide recognises that it has a duty of care for all persons within the workplace including staff, students, co-location partners, contractors/service providers, visitors and volunteers. The purpose of this policy is to provide a consistent approach to Plant and Equipment Safety Management which meets the requirements of the OHS&W Legislation and our OHS&W Policy. The OHS&W Regulations also list and refer to the Australian Standards, and Approved Codes of Practice, which must be read in conjunction with this policy - Refer Appendix A.
