Students with Prescribed Communicable Infections Policy (Unrevised)

Overview:

The policy sets out testing and notification requirements for prescribed communicable infections such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, for entry to academic programs in the Faculty of Health Sciences with clinical components that may involve exposure-prone procedures, such as Dentistry, Medicine and Nursing.

Note:

As from 7 July 2008, custodianship of this Policy was transferred to the Vice-President (Services and Resources). Approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President 7 July 2008.
