Executive Assistant to the Executive Dean
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Executive Dean's diary.
- Manage the Executive Dean's travel arrangements.
- Provide a range of EA/PA support to the Executive Dean.
- Act as first point of call for Faculty enquiries.
Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Professions Learning and Teaching portfolio.
- Advise the Executive Dean on Learning and Teaching matters.
- Chair the Community of Practice, various Ad-hoc Working Parties and the Curriculum Committee.
- Serve and represent the Faculty on various University teaching related committees.
- Communicate Learning and Teaching matters to Faculty staff.
- Act as Executive Dean when required.
Associate Dean (Research & Higher Degrees)
Responsibilities:
- Manage research related matters for the Faculty of the Professions.
- Serve and represent the Faculty on various University research related committees.
- Advise the Executive Dean on research matters.
- Communicate Research matters to Faculty staff.
Associate Dean (Partnerships and Community Liaison)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate faculty activities for community engagement. This includes general faculty strategy for Alumni, networking, internships and experiential learning programs.
- Provide support on engagement activities to Schools and staff, and assist Schools develop industry networks of benefit.
- Work with the University Office of Community Engagement on strategies for the Faculty.
- Advise the Executive Dean on engagement activities.
Associate Dean Information Technology
Responsibilities:
- Monitor advances and developments in University IT policy and strategy, and its impact
- Represent the Faculty on the University Associate Deans (IT) Committee and ITS Committee
- Take a proactive role in assisting the Executive Dean to give effect to the Faculty Strategic Plan with respect to IT matters
- Develop Faculty policy on IT related issues
Organisational Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Faculty office team of professional staff to support the Executive Dean.
- Develop, manage and monitor projects to support Faculty strategies.
- Work with School managers to improve administrative services.
Faculty Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Faculty Finance Office team
- Provide strategic financial advice and services for the management of Faculty resources to support the Executive Dean and Heads of Schools.
- Implement the University's Financial Management Framework within the Faculty.
- Develop and manage tasks related to Finance, HR and Travel and implement within the Schools.
