Organisational Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Faculty office team of professional staff to support the Executive Dean
  • Develop, manage and monitor projects to support Faculty strategies
  • Work with School managers to improve administrative services

Faculty International Manager

Mr Edwin Leow

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level advice to the Executive Dean on international developments, policies and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the Faculty's international strategic plan and lead the implementation and evaluation of these strategies.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with overseas university partners and external agencies that support the Faculty's internationalisation agenda.
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in overseas student recruitment activities.
  • Manage the two International Officers.

International Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment of targeted international students
  • Provide service to prospective students via face-to-face student recruitment initiatives, on the phone and by email.
  • Assist with the development and planning of articulation agreements
  • Provides reports relating to international students

Health, Safety and Welfare Manager

Mr Paul Roberts

* (Shared position between Human Resources, The Faculty of the Professions and The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist managers and supervisors in the identification, assessment and selection of measures to control hazards and risks to H&S and in the development and provision of appropriate health and safety related information, instruction and training.
  • Monitor and advise on legislative and technical changes to H&S. Provide reports to various committees and the VC & President on Uni performance. Assist management to implement HSW policy and facilitate continuous improvement of HSW.
  • Investigate major incidents and assist to develop hazard control measures.

Faculty Learning & Teaching Coordinator

Ms Lydia Tarnowskyj

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administrative requirements of the Learning and Teaching Portfolio within the Faculty.
  • Manage the data collation, analysis and dissemination of information pertaining to the Learning & Teaching activities and performance requirements of the Faculty.
  • Provide support to the Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) with various learning and teaching projects, including the administration of the Learning Committee.
  • Work closely with the Schools and relevant University departments to facilitate the development of learning and teaching initiatives within the Faculty.

Student Experience Coordinator

Ms Kimberly Burdett

Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing student experiences within the Faculty
  • Increasing opportunities for student involvement both within and external to the University
  • Manages the ambassador program for students in Business, Economics and Law
  • Identifies marketing opportunities relating to promotion of the student experience

Internship and Network Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an experiential learning program incorporating internships, work experience, cadetships, study tours, vacation work, volunteer work.
  • Develop relationships with the business community, employers and professional bodies, for the purpose of experiential learning programs and other activities/events, and also for research and business projects.
  • Establish industry networks.

Internships Support Officer

Ms Jessica Moses

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice to current students, employers, industry bodies, and staff who utilise the Faculty Internship Program
  • Assist in the scoping, planning, development and implementation of careers and experiential learning opportunities
  • Build relationships with industry networks
