Student Hub Manager

Caroline Stonell

* Caroline has taken on Siobhan Guy's position while she is on maternity leave until May 2013.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the staff and facilities of the Professions Undergraduate Student Hub and Postgraduate Hub.
  • Assist with Faculty wide implementation of "best practice" in the form of student services.
  • Manage staff contact in areas of: program advice, enrolment, admission, handbooks, student exchange, articulation agreements, and implementation of University policy.
  • Liaise with schools in the Faculty (Business, Economics and Education) regarding student experience.

Undergraduate Team Leader

Thu Trotter

* Thu has taken on Nicole Rizzo-Gray's position while she is on maternity leave until November 2013.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day operational supervision
  • Maintain communication lines with Business, Economics and Education Schools
  • Coordinate student admin processes

Student Information Officer

Kirsty Arnold

Responsibilities:

  • Answer general queries from current and prospective students.
  • Collect and collate information from lecturers.
  • Provide basic program advice across all programs and filter students requiring appointments with Program Advisers.
  • Contact for UG Hub facilities issues and liaison for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Support for the BEE Connected Mentoring Programming, Credit and Cross-Institutional Applications.
  • HSW (Safety) Officer.

Student Information Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Answer general queries from current and prospective students.
  • Collect and collate information from lecturers.
  • Provide basic program advice across all programs and filter students requiring appointments with Program Advisers.
  • Contact for UG Hub facilities issues and liaison for cleaning and maintenance.

Student and Academic Support Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Support Program Advisors in provision of general information
  • Manage enrolment and information sessions
  • Administer student mentor programs

Program Adviser

Andrew Harker-Smith

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to students and staff including information related to admission requirements, program structure, study plans and credit transfer, enrolment and selection of courses, graduation and completions, and academic progress.
  • Liaise with the School of Economics and maintain communication and links between the Schools and the Hub.
  • Provide executive support for the Academic Program Committees.

Program Adviser

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to students and staff including information related to admission requirements, program structure, study plans and credit transfer, enrolment and selection of courses, graduation and completions, and academic progress.
  • Liaise with the Business School and maintain communication and links between the Schools and the Hub.
  • Provide executive support for the Academic Program Committees.

Mobility Officer

Pamela Thompson

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing exchange and study abroad, including faculty approval and student transfer credit.
  • Promote international study opportunities (including exchange, study abroad and study tours) to students and identify related projects for future development.

Program Adviser

Andrew Tarnowskyj

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to students and staff including information related to admission requirements, program structure, study plans and credit transfer, enrolment and selection of courses, graduation and completions, and academic progress.
  • Responsible for matters relating to domestic admissions through SATAC.
  • Liaise with the School of Education and maintain communication and links between the Schools and the Hub.
  • Provide executive support for the Academic Program Committees.

Communications Officer

Sasha Oelsner

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the online resources of the Professions Hub
  • Create publications such as student handbooks and student orientation
  • Event management
  • Maintain social media
