Student Ambassador Program

The Faculty of the Professions Student Ambassador Program has been developed to create a network of undergraduate students enrolled in Business, Economics and Law, and provide them with unique opportunities to enhance and enrich their time at University.

Student ambassadors will act as the Faculty's voice in promotion and peer recommendation; the program aims to form a central source of the numerous opportunities available exclusively to these students. These opportunities can range from industry networking events, international travel opportunities, volunteering, internships, work placements, social events, professional workshops and much more!

Join us on Facebook to interact with other Ambassadors and follow us on Pinterest to check out success stories, portraits of Ambassadors, photos of events and much more!

Thoughts about the Ambassador program?

  • Han

"The Ambassador Program has brought me many valuable volunteer opportunities and great chances to meet awesome people. I also had the chance to participate in various networking activities and workshops that are exclusively designed for Student Ambassadors.
My skills have improved considerably since I got involved in the program. I have understood that the difference between "extraordinary" and "ordinary" is just the word "extra" - what you do apart from just studying at University.
The Ambassador Program has made my Uni Life a lot more interesting and meaningful!"

DOUNG (MICHELLE) TRAN – BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS), 2ND YEAR

  • SAM

"The Professions Student Ambassador program has enabled me to broaden and enrich my time at university.
The program has provided me with opportunities to think about and learn how to be a leader in the future that have also given me access to career and networking opportunities, and has allowed me to meet a group of students who share the same aspirations.
Finally, the program has made me feel part of the university community, allowing me to become involved in important discussions about bringing positive change to the university"

SAM – STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS – PASS (PEER ASSISTED STUDY SESSIONS) LEADER IN FIRST YEAR ECONOMICS

  • KHALILLAH

"It's a great program for ALL students - international and local.
PSAP gives great opportunities for experiences outside the realm of academics and it is through these experiences I've met great people and was able to do great things like climb a mountain to see the sunrise in Central Australia!"

KHALILLAH HUSSIN – BACHELOR OF SOCIAL SCIENCES & LAW, 2ND YEAR

  • ASHLEIGH

"I think the Ambassador Program is a fantastic initiative.
I have found it a very rewarding and encouraging experience. It is a wonderful way to promote greater involvement in uni life.
It is also a form of recognition and validation to those students that make the effort to do volunteer work or other extra-curriculars outside of their studies and although it might not be the main motivation – a pat on the back is always welcome!"

ASHLEIGH TEO – BACHELOR OF LAWS, PENULTIMATE YEAR

  • CARLISLE

"The Professions Student Ambassador Program gives a great opportunity to students who have a rounded and balanced approach to their lives.
It rewards hard work without putting any pressure on and provides opportunities that ordinarily would be out of reach."

The program is also useful in that you can gain invaluable experiences which will no doubt be helpful when entering the workforce."
