How are you going to lead your organisation successfully into an increasingly complex future? To survive and thrive, you and your organisation will need to be open to new ideas and ways of seeing and doing things.

Global crisis - economic, social, environmental - is prompting business leaders everywhere to look for new ways to respond to increasing complexity and to the growing awareness of our interdependencies. Many leaders are taking some time out to examine if there is a different way of looking at what is going on. How can you ensure that your business remains relevant and resilient into the future?

This program will expose you to the new thinking and principles that visionary leaders are drawing on, as well as offering you opportunities for personal development, as we explore the range of global, organisational, and individual perspectives.

Exploring the key questions

  • What are the predominant trends in the world around you?
  • How is the answer to this affected by the personal and cultural way you "see" the world?
  • Is there a new and more effective lens through which you can interpret what's really going on - one that sees connected wholes, not divided parts?
  • In response to the challenge of unprecedented change, how can you work with your people to help them proactively shape their future, rather than simply react to one thrust upon them?
  • How can you inspire and liberate the best from your people?
  • What personal qualities will this demand of you and how can you cultivate them?

And this is all placed in the context of your direct experience by providing time to work through an experience-based case study in small groups.

Who should attend

This interactive and groundbreaking program is designed for those senior leaders who want to keep pace with the escalating complexity of their work environment. If you're interested in positioning your private, public or not-for-profit organisation for continued relevance and resilience into the future, Emergent Leadership is for you.
