Risk Analysis and ManagementA Comprehensive Approach to Measurement and Management of Risk
On this page OverviewTo a large degree, some level of risk is unavoidable in almost any business process. Identifying and managing risk, therefore, is an essential and fundamental aspect of management. All too often, however, the approach to analysing risk focuses almost exclusively on financial evaluation. While this is certainly important, it leaves many issues unresolved. What may appear financially to be an acceptable or even low risk situation may well be fraught with danger when other critical parameters are applied. Risk Analysis and Management will help you master the key concepts, tools and techniques required to effectively evaluate and manage risk for the maximum benefit of your organisation. Taking a highly practical and applied approach, it will reinforce the need to fully explore each and every aspect of an opportunity before agreeing to proceed. Business processes involving organisational, structural, logistic and operational values will be highlighted as potential areas for review, and major forms of risk-averse behaviour and their dangers will be analysed.
