Past Darwin Participants Insights
Narelle Goodrem"I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend the Professional Management Program. The Professional Management Program is an extremely well designed course for those wanting to develop their capacity to think strategically about an organisation (ie. how to develop and formulate strategic plans that will align business activity to ensure sustainable success). The program provides each student with an exceptional set of management tools (strategic and analytical) which are explored in succession as the lecturers facilitate the learning process of how to manage a multifunctional business organisation with an effective business strategy. Students have substantial one on one access to a solid range of expert lecturers skilled at invoking classroom participation. Class numbers ensured that the lecturer could provide quality learning and participation experiences for all. The Professional Management Program course components (modules, readings, assignments etc) were manageable even for a full-time working parent with demanding workloads. The program provides a wonderful opportunity to learn/explore strategic management concepts with a range of industry peers and colleagues. The networking opportunities are invaluable. It also allows students to work on major projects within their own organisations, honing and developing newfound management skills and knowledge. It provides the foundation for students to further develop their professional working relationships with mentors and upper management within their organisations." |
