If you have received your First or Second Risk Notification, make sure you make an appointment to see a Program Adviser and seek academic support.
If you have received a Show Cause Notification please follow the instructions as outlined in your letter. You are also encouraged to seek support.
About the Hub
Undergraduate Hub (ground floor, Nexus 10)
Students enrolled into the Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Economics, Teaching as well as the Graduate Diploma in Education have exclusive access to the Student Lounge - 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Outstanding modern facilities are featured throughout the Student Lounge, including:
- group-work booths with laptop access on LCD screens
- numerous computing facilities with wireless network access
- an outdoor area and Café, with casual seating and tables creating a social and interactive learning environment for students.
- assignment drop boxes for all School of Education, Business School and School of Economics courses.
There is also a First Year Learning Centre, newly opened in August 2010, which allows for new students to study in their own exclusive area.
The UG Hub front desk is also where you can talk to staff about issues that may be affecting your studies. Leanne and Kirsty can help you with enrolment problems, study plans, appointments to see a research librarian and most general student administrative enquiries. For complex program advice, there are three program advisers who are available by appointment that can help you further. Appointments can be made at the front desk.
One of the highlights of the Hub is the glass sky-bridge and glazed atrium, linking the existing Professions Tower and Education building. A combination of unique architecture, design, and advanced facilities, the Professions Hub will prove a popular community space that offers a unique learning environment and friendly atmosphere.

Postgraduate Hub (level 1, Nexus 10)
Students enrolled into Postgraduate Business, Economics, Education and MBA coursework programs have exclusive access to the Postgraduate Hub 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Outstanding modern facilities are featured throughout the Postgraduate Hub including:
- Computer Suites
- Student lounge and kitchen including microwaves, fridges and vending machines
- Wi-Fi access
- Lockers
- Walk up ASKthePROF computers
- A dedicated MBA computer suite with laptop access on a LCD screen
- A dedicated Education room
The PG Hub front desk is also where you can talk to staff about issues that may be affecting your studies including enrolment support, study advice, submission of forms, drop in and speak with a program adviser and general student administrative enquiries. The front desk is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
