Master of Business Online

Master of Business Online

If you are a new student, congratulations on your admission into the 100% online Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Master of Business.

If you are a continuing student, welcome back and note that you still must follow the below steps to commence your next course.

This website contains important information to assist you in commencing your program of study. It is important that you follow the below FOUR (4) key steps to ensure that you can commence your study on time.

Step 1: Enrol

You can only begin enrolling after Monday, 19 February for Terms 2, 3 and 4.

NOTE: Before you choose your courses within your program, please refer to the Program Rules to ensure the courses you select will allow you to complete your chosen award. A course timetable, including enrolment dates, can be found below. If you are a new student, you must enrol in one of the foundation or core courses on offer.

Before you can commence studying your Business program, you must enrol into your course(s). Once you have enrolled through the following process, you will then receive access to your online course website. Enrolment into courses is done online through Access Adelaide by completing the following easy steps:

  1. Log into Access Adelaide
Your username is the same as your Student ID number. Both your Student ID (username) and password are included in the welcome letter sent to you by the Faculty of the Professions. Your username comprises your 7-digit student ID number, preceded by the lowercase letter "a" (e.g. a1234567).
  2. Declaration
Read this information carefully before you select ‘I Agree’ as this indicates that you agree to be bound by the statutes, regulations, rules and policies of the University and the release of information to statutory authorities, as required by law.
  3. Review your Address details
It is important that your address, mailing address and contact details are up-to-date. You can log into Access Adelaide and change these details at any time throughout your program.
  4. Disability
The University is committed to providing appropriate service and support to all students so if you have specific needs, please help us to help you by completing this section or, if you prefer, contact the Learning and Disability Access Office.
  5. Fee Status
This displays the current fee status recorded against your program.
  6. Request for Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP
    This section is not applicable.
  7. Request for FEE-HELP Assistance
If you are (1) an Australian citizen, or (2) a holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa, or (3) the holder of a permanent visa who is undertaking bridging study for overseas-trained professionals you may be eligible for FEE-HELP to assist in meeting tuition costs. Note that categories (2) and (3) must be a resident in Australia to access FEE-HELP. Further information can be found at FEE-HELP.
  8. Expected Completion
Please enter the term and year that you expect to complete your program. This information is important as it allows us to contact you and provide information about upcoming graduation ceremonies and what you need to do to prepare for your graduation.
  9. Enrol into your classes
Enter the enrolment class number listed on this webpage under Timetable information. If the class number for your class is not yet available, please hold off on enrolling for this class until it is listed.

Select Save after each course if you are happy with your choices. As this process can take a few seconds, DON'T click repeatedly on the save button - this won't speed things up. You will see on the screen if your class add has been successful (this means you are enrolled), or unsuccessful (this means you are not enrolled and will need to seek a different class, or course).

Continue to enrol until you've finished adding all of your classes for the term. You can then print out your enrolment list (select printer friendly version) from the top menu bar for your own records.

Dropping a Course

If you decide that you do not wish to complete the course you are enrolled in, you have up until the CENSUS DATE to drop your course through Access Adelaide. If you do not drop your course by the Census Date then you will be liable for the full course fees.

Step 2: Order Textbooks

Please find a list of textbooks for your online courses below. Please order your textbook through your preferred local or online supplier as soon as possible to ensure that you have access to the textbook by week 1 of the course. Some textbooks are available as e-texts so be sure to check with the relevant publisher.
