Applying for the Financial Incentive Scheme

Please read the terms and conditions carefully.

MBA Students Only: When applying for an exchange, all you need to do is indicate on the application form that you would like to be considered for the Business, Economics and Law Financial Incentive Scheme.

All other applicants will need to include:

  • two references (at least one academic)
  • a short statement of purpose, providing an indication of how you will contribute to the positive brand of the University of Adelaide as an Ambassador of the Adelaide programs.

The outcome of your application is subject to your acceptance by the host university. Once you have been accepted by the host university, you will receive an official offer of the grant.

Accepting Your Offer

You will need to complete and return the paperwork received with your offer. Once processed, the funds will be deposited directly into your bank account. You will usually receive the funds several weeks before your exchange commences.  However, this is subject to timely receipt of all paperwork.

If your acceptance is sent directly to you by the exchange university, you may need to provide the Postgraduate Hub with evidence of your acceptance before the grant is offered.
