Feeling a little overwhelmed and want to talk to someone who knows how you feel? BEE Connected provides a relaxed and social way to meet new friends during the first 8 weeks of your university experience. There is no joining fee or waiting period, all first year Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Economics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Teaching students are automatically part of the BEE Connected program. All you need is to do is check your student email for invitations to exclusive events to assist your transition to life at the University of Adelaide.
Our BEE Connected mentors are senior students who will organise and host events such as BBQ’s, quizzes, events around the campus — all activities to build your university network and help keep you connected. They are also there to share with you their own experiences at University, from their first year to now as well as helpful tips to organise your studies.

Over the first 9 weeks of Semester 1, BEE Connected in conjunction with the First Year Learning Centre will run a series of workshops to help you get started on the right track to begin your University journey. These will range from how to structure assignments correctly to avoiding plagiarism and exam revision strategies.
