Over the first 9 weeks of Semester 1, BEE Connected in conjunction with the First Year Learning Centre will run a series of workshops to help you get started on the right track to begin your University journey. These will range from how to structure assignments correctly to avoiding plagiarism and exam revision strategies.
After each session, we will be putting the notes and/or slides below.

Getting SortedCongratulations! You’ve made it through week 1. The excitement of orientation has died down and there’s quite a bit to do: lectures and tutes, loads of reading, tute assignments every week, bigger assignments to think about and finding all the books and journal articles for yourself. This session will give you ideas about how to fit it all in, how to use the Communication Skills Guide and get off on the right foot. Our students and BEE Connected mentors have compiled a list of useful strategies to help you as you get started here at the University of Adelaide. If you were unable to attend the session or would like a refresher you can find their notes here. |
