There are a few things you should be familiar with before you begin your studies in 2012.

Student ID Card & Diary
Once you have enrolled, visit Card Services to collect your Student ID Card.
Your student ID card will provide you with swipe access to many buildings around the University, and in particular some exclusive Undergraduate areas within the Professions Hub, such as:
- The Undergraduate Student Lounge, with plenty of computers, couches and study areas and
- The First Year Learning Centre (FYLC).

Purchase Your Textbooks
Use Unibooks to find out which textbooks are required for your courses.
There are also various resources for purchasing second hand textbooks.
Course Readers can be purchased from the Image and Copy Centre. You need to print off a voucher on MyUni to collect your course reader.
Preliminary Lectures
You will find the timetable for preliminary Lectures in the O'Guide.
You are expected to attend the Preliminary Lectures for your courses.

Bachelor of Teaching and Graduate Diploma in Education students must obtain a National Criminal History Record Check and complete the Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training soon as possible. Graduate Diploma in Education students must also attend their individual enrolment advice sessions on Tuesday 31 January and return their country preference forms by Friday 24 February. |
Hub Day Out
Come along for a FREE BBQ lunch and meet students, staff and academics, as well as representatives from many professional bodies!
Hub Day Out will introduce you to the Professions Hub and the free services that are available to you during your university life.
Date: Wednesday, 22 February (Wednesday of O'Week, before classes start)
Time: 12.30pm - 3pm
Location: Professions Hub, NEXUS 10
The First Year Learning Centre, Professions Learning Centre, Study Abroad and Exchange, Your Experience, CPA, CA and many more will all have a presence at Hub Day Out.
PLUS | DJ, give-a-ways, activities and prizes!
So come along and meet your teachers, fellow peers and familiarise yourself with the UG Hub and it's services.
