Welcome to the Faculty of the Professions at the University of Adelaide!
Information for incoming exchange students undertaking Business, Economics, Finance and Teaching courses.
The Faculty of the Professions hosts students from all over the world, and this semester we are welcoming exchange students from Germany, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Spain, Sweden, Canada, the United States, South Korea, Finland, Netherlands, Canada, China and other countries. You will be undertaking your studies with our Australian students as well as other international students.
We look forward to having you here at the University of Adelaide and hope you enjoy your semester with us.
Semester starts Monday, 27 February so to help you get started on the right track, here are a couple of tips from the Undergraduate Hub.

Orientation Week for New International Students

Student orientation at the University of Adelaide is about making friends, having fun, and finding the information and skills you need to survive and succeed in a new environment.
Professions Welcome Afternoon for Exchange Students
Date: Monday, 20 February
Time: 2pm - 3pm
Location: Seminar Room UB34 (Green), Basement, NEXUS 10, Pulteney Street (coordinates Q14 on the map)
Join us for a free afternoon tea, meet other exchange students in the Faculty of the Professions and become acquainted with the services and facilities you have access to as a Professions student.
If you do not receive your invitation by email, contact the Mobility Officer.
Hub Day Out
Hub Day Out will introduce you to the free services that are available to you during your university life, give you the opportunity to meet your teachers and fellow peers!
Date: Wednesday, 22 February (Wednesday of O'Week, before classes start)
Time: 12.30pm - 3pm
Location: Professions Hub, NEXUS 10
A free BBQ lunch, music, give-a-ways and prizes will also be provided on the day!

All information from the Hub and University will be sent via email. It is essential you either check your student email address daily, or redirect your student email to your preferred email address to ensure you are kept up to date.

Enrolling and Before Classes Start
You should be enrolling into all your semester 1 courses via Access Adelaide, found in Unified.
- complete enrolment
- collect your student card
- pick up course material from Image and Copy Centre
- buy your textbooks
- check your student email
- log into Unified daily for MyUni updates and email announcements
