Incoming Exchange Students

Welcome to the Faculty of the Professions at the University of Adelaide

The following information is for incoming exchange students undertaking undergraduate Business, Economics, Finance and Teaching courses. Courses within these areas sit within the Faculty of the Professions.

The Faculty of the Professions hosts students from all over the world, and this semester we are welcoming exchange students from:

Semester starts Monday, 4 March and you will be undertaking your studies with our Australian students as well as other international students. The Professions UG Hub is your student administration centre and we are available to help you at any time during the semester.

We look forward to having you here at the University of Adelaide. We hope you enjoy your time with us and that your studies are successful and rewarding.

Orientation for New International Students

Orientation Week for commencing international students

The International Student Centre (ISC) and its Peer Mentors will run a Welcome Centre, workshops, seminars, presentations, tours and social events for new international students from Monday 18 February 2013.

Orientation Week for all commencing students

Get your first taste of the University of Adelaide life at O'Week 2013! Uni can seem like a bug, daunting place when you start, but O'Week helps to demystify it all. It is a great way to experience uni in a fun, low-stress environment. O’Week commences on Monday 25 February 2013.

Hub Day Out - Welcome Lunch

Hub Day Out will introduce you to the free services that are available to you as a Faculty of the Professions student and you have the opportunity to meet some academic staff, support staff and your fellow peers!

You should be enrolling into all your courses via Access Adelaide, found in Unified.

• complete enrolment
• collect your student card
• pick up course material from Image and Copy Centre
• buy your textbooks
• check your student email
• log into Unified daily for MyUni updates and email announcements

All information from the Hub and University will be sent via email. It is essential you either check your student email address daily, or redirect your student email to your preferred email address to ensure you are kept up to date.
