You must plan your semester 1 and semester 2 timetable in advance.

All you will need is:

Username and Password

Your Username (student number) and password are printed on your Welcome Letter. To make the number your username, simply add a lower case 'a' in front. For example, a1234567.

Forgotten your password? Unfortunately, you cannot have your password reset over the phone. You have to visit either the University Contact Centre with appropriate ID or have your password posted to you.

Step 2 – Course Planner

You must use the Course Planner to search for

  • Core and elective courses
  • Lecture and related class times and locations
  • The semester in which the course is held
  • Pre-requisites, assumed knowledge and restrictions
  • Fee information.

Follow the steps below to navigate your way through the Course Planner.

How to Search

When searching for a course, it is best to search using either the Subject Area and/or Catalogue number.

Hints for searching

For example, to look for Accounting for Decision Makers I, you could:

  • Enter Accounting for Decision Makers I in the Course Title field
  • Select "ACCTING" from the Subject Area field, and scroll through until you find it or
  • Select "ACCTING" from the Subject Area field and enter 1002 into the Course Catalogue field (if you know the Course Catalogue number, this is the quickest option).

Course Descriptions

Once you have performed a search, the Course Planner will give you a description of the course. This can be particularly helpful when selecting electives to find out if they are of interest to you.
