Follow the steps below to work through your enrolment!
Step 1 – Plan Your Timetable for Semester 1 and 2.
Step 2 – Make yourself familiar with the Course Planner.
Step 3 – Log in to Unified.
Step 4 – Navigate to Access Adelaide.
Step 5 – Add Courses.
Step 6 – What to do if you get any Enrolment Errors.
Step 7 – View Your Timetable.
Step 8 – Finished!
Step 1 – Plan Your Timetable
You must plan your semester 1 and semester 2 timetable in advance.
All you will need is:
- Your handbook to know what courses you need to enrol in
- The Course Planner open to know when the classes are scheduled
- A blank Class Planner to plot your classes

Your Username (student number) and password are printed on your Welcome Letter. To make the number your username, simply add a lower case 'a' in front. For example, a1234567. Forgotten your password? Unfortunately, you cannot have your password reset over the phone. You have to visit either the University Contact Centre with appropriate ID or have your password posted to you. |
Step 2 – Course Planner
You must use the Course Planner to search for
- Core and elective courses
- Lecture and related class times and locations
- The semester in which the course is held
- Pre-requisites, assumed knowledge and restrictions
- Fee information.
Follow the steps below to navigate your way through the Course Planner.
How to Search
When searching for a course, it is best to search using either the Subject Area and/or Catalogue number.

Course Descriptions
Once you have performed a search, the Course Planner will give you a description of the course. This can be particularly helpful when selecting electives to find out if they are of interest to you.

Make sure you take note of the restrictions, prerequisites, assumed knowledge and incompatibilities. You will be unenrolled from the course if you do not meet the prerequisite. |
Class Number
Take note of the class number when planning your timetable so that you can entre the number straight into Access Adelaide when you add the course.

Enrolment Class Number: This is the first number you must enter when adding courses in Access Adelaide. Related Class Number: This is the second number that you must enter when adding courses in Access Adelaide. Use the Dates, Days and Time fields to avoid clashes. |
Step 3 – Unified
UNIFIED lets you access your email, calender, MyUni and Access Adelaide through a central website with a single login.
You will need to login to Unified and then navigate to Access Adelaide to begin adding courses.

Important information is posted onto Unified in the form of "announcements". These can be found on the right-hand side of the screen, circled above. It is essential that you read these announcements to find out what is happening around the Hub. |
Step 4 – Access Adelaide
Once logged into Unified, select the Access Adelaide icon from the Home panel. You must complete the Enrolment checklist before you are permitted to add courses.
Access Adelaide allows you to:
- View your enrolment details for any semester
- Add and drop classes
- View your Unofficial Academic transcript
- View and amend your personal details, including your name, address and telephone numbers
- View the fees, charges and payments on your University account
- Make credit card payments online towards your University account
- View your exam schedule (available prior to exams)
- Apply to graduate
- View your grades

Step 5 – Adding Courses
Follow the steps below to begin adding courses in Access Adelaide.
Enrolment Semester

Enrol in Semester 1 and Semester 2 right from the beginning of the year so you don't have to go through the process again in Semester 2. |
Begin Adding Classes
Click the Add button to begin adding classes.

Class Number
Enter the Enrolment Class Number, which can be found on the Course Planner.
There is no need to search if you already know the class number - simply enter the Enrolment Class number and hit the Add button.

Related Classes
Choose any related classes, such as tutorials or workshops.
Whenever you see a green button, it means that you are required to select something in order to proceed to the next step (or successfully add the class).

Check & Save
Check selected classes and save!

Step 6 – Enrolment Errors
If you receive an error message, it is possible that classes are clashing or that the course is full. You can drop or swap a course/class to fix any problem.

Step 7 – View Your Timetable
Once you have added your courses, you should view your timetable and print it out.
This is only a weekly timetable. Some classes may not appear in week 1, 2 or 3 because they do not start until later in the semester. Click the across arrow to check.

Finished!
You should be successfully enrolled and well on your way to starting your studies in the Faculty of the Professions.
