Student Representatives
Semester 2, 2011 - Semester 1, 2012

The Student Reps are peer elected to represent the students best interests. They attend Program Committee meetings, play an active role in policy-making on behalf of the student body and, in turn, assist in clarifying student expectations.
It is important you know your student reps and how to contact them.
Fraser Jennison |
I have experience interacting with a diverse range of people and have many friends and colleagues who are local, rural and international. I believe I can draw upon these experiences and apply them to the Adelaide University Faculty of the Professions to successfully represent the student population as a whole. The most important aspects of this position are to listen and communicate well. I believe I possess these skills and can successfully mediate between the student body and the Professions Hub. My name is Qiaoling (Shirley) He. I am currently in the last year of the Bachelor degree of Finance (International), which I find thoroughly enjoyable. In addition to Finance subjects, I have also done a few Economics courses and participated as a student representative last year. Also, I have been actively involved as a peer mentor in BEE (Business, Economics & Education) Connected, which is a university organisation assisting first year students. As a result of my experiences, I understand that comprehensive school policies and effective communication between students and the committee is very important. I am honoured to be in the committee this year and look forward to contributing. Contact me at qiaoling.he@student.adelaide.edu.au |
Sam Capurso |
I am currently in my third year of a Law and Economics double degree. I relish the opportunity to listen to others' ideas and concerns, as well as show understanding with different perspectives. I also have the capacity to step forward, get involved and take action in order to create positive change. I am passionate and hardworking in everything I do. I believe in quality education and am proud to be a student of the University of Adelaide. Contact me at sam.capurso@student.adelaide.edu.au |
