How to Apply

If you would like to apply to participate in the Internship Program please send through the following information to internships.professions@adelaide.edu.au.

1. A cover letter addressing why you are interested in the Internship Program and why you would be a suitable candidate for an Internship (no more then 1 page)
2. Provide an up-to-date resume. Make sure it includes:
   1. Your contact details
   2. Program of study with expected completion date
   3. Education history
   4. Employment history
   5. 2-3 Referees & their contact details
3. Attach a copy of your current academic transcript. A copy of your unofficial transcript will be sufficient.

Remember, you must meet the minimum criteria to be considered for the Internship Program. Further information about eligibility and selection criteria can be found on the Students page.

We cannot guarantee all students who apply for an Internship will be successful. Selection for the Internship Program is a competitive process.

After you Apply

Once the Internships Team have received your application we will assess your application and if you meet the criteria we generally arrange for you to come in for a brief 'shortlisting interview' this is a conversation to identify what you are looking for in regards to the internship placement and helps us determine your suitability for the internship program.

If you have applied for an advertised internship or if your application is matched to a specific internship opportunity by the Internships Team, we will forward your application to the organisation for their review. On some occasions the organisation will arrange to interview directly while some are happy for the Internships Team to conduct interviews on their behalf and match the successful application.
