Transition arrangements for Current Students
Bachelor of Commerce
Transition arrangements for current students who have not completed all their level II courses by the end of 2008 and their level III courses by the end of 2009:
- Students must complete the compulsory courses included in the current program rules (although they will be 3-unit courses instead of 4 units).
- Students must complete at least 12 units of Commerce courses at level 2 and 12 units of Commerce courses at Level 2 and 12 units of Commerce courses at Level 3.
- Students must complete all the requirements of the degree under one set of program rules. (i.e. can’t ‘mix and match’ rules.)
- Students must complete 72 units in total.
- Students cannot complete both the 3-unit and 4-unit course of the same name.
Where a student cannot complete the degree under the above guidelines, the following arrangements will be in place:
- In certain circumstances, students whose study is affected by the transition to the new degree structures may be permitted to graduate with 70 or 71 units.
- In some circumstances, this may mean less than 12 units of Commerce courses at level II.
Students should draw up their proposed study plan and make an appointment to see a course adviser by emailing:
