Bachelor of Engineering in Computational Engineering B.E(CE)
2008

Location: North Terrace Campus
Duration: 4 years (full time)
Degree: Bachelor

Program Outline

New in 2008

This program entails computational modelling, simulation and optimisation within the Engineering Sciences. Globally, Computational Engineering is regarded as an indispensable partner, along with experimentation and theoretical predication, in engineering practice and the advancement of scientific knowledge. With advances in computer technology and the complex algorithms required to solve complex problems, Computational Engineering now enables the development of complex engineering systems that are compatible with current trends of reduced emissions, fuel efficiency and the use of environmentally sustainable materials. Graduates can expect to work in defence industries, aviation industry, engineering design, manufacturing, research and software development.
