Applicants must have:

  • qualified for a degree from the University of Adelaide in a discipline related to the proposed field of study
  • qualified for an award accepted by the Board of Studies as being equivalent to a degree from the University of Adelaide in a discipline related to the proposed field of study and
  • had at least 18 months’ employment experience in a defence-related industry.

In exceptional circumstances and subject to any conditions imposed, the Board of Studies may accept a person who does not qualify under the above criteria, but has supplied satisfactory evidence of fitness to undertake work for the degree of Master of Sciences (Defence).
