Program Outline

The Master of Commerce (Performance Management) is designed to encompass the management and evaluation of performance at the organisational, strategic business unit and individual level, and is suitable for graduates from management and nonmanagement disciplines. It aims to equip students with a sound knowledge of managing organisational performance in its multiple dimensions.

The study of performance management is approached from an interdisciplinary base that integrates the planning, control and evaluation systems of an organisation. Candidates who have previously graduated from a recognised degree with significant management concentration may be able to complete the Master of Commerce (Performance Management) in one year.

The Master of Commerce (Performance Management) also meets the AIM (SA) qualification of Certified Professional Manager (CPMgr).
