Opportunity exists for some specialisation in occupational health and safety, public health policy, health promotion, environmental health, qualitative research, epidemiology or biostatistics.
The Discipline of Public Health also runs a joint postgraduate Occupational Health and Safety Management program with the University of South Australia. The graduate certificate, diploma and masters degrees have been specifically developed for those seeking a career in OHS, particularly as a manager or consultant. Core and elective courses enable participants to acquire the skills and knowledge to design, implement and evaluate OHS systems and interventions. The program is recognised by OHS professional bodies including the Safety Institute of Australia and the Australasian Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
The Discipline of Public Health in collaboration with the Discipline of Statistics at the University of Adelaide offers high quality postgraduate coursework awards in Biostatistics through the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia. [read more]
