Program Structure

All candidates shall complete the core courses: Epidemiology, Mathematical Background for Biostatistics, and a selection of elective courses: Probability and Distribution Theory, Data Management and Statistical Computing, Design of Experiments and Randomised Clinical Trials, Health Indicators and Health Surveys.

Selection Criteria ?

Graduate entry only.
You must have a completed 3-year degree, sit a Maths proficiency test and attend an oral assessment if successful in test.
Additional Entry Requirements ?
Applicants are required to meet a standard in Maths Proficiency. The selection process also considers qualifications/experience in a relevant field and includes an interview with the Program Coordinator. Applicants MUST submit an additional information request form to the Discipline of Public Health before their application will be considered.
