Program Outline

An Honours degree of Bachelor of Computer Science caters for students that do well in their Bachelor of Computer Science program. Honours is suitable for students with specific interests in computer science and information technology, and those that want an opportunity for further research and enhanced employment prospects. Students of this program will cover a core of compulsory computer science courses and a wide range of elective courses in mathematics and statistics as well as commerce, design studies, economics, engineering, finance, humanities and social sciences and science.

Graduates of this program are able to design computer-based solutions to the problems of information management and processing in industry, commerce and the public sector. The program produces highly skilled, adaptable graduates who are able to design computer-based solutions to the problems of information management and processing in industry, commerce, science, entertainment, and the public sector and continue further research.
