Program Outline

The Graduate Certificate provides a competitive, high quality, flexible coursework degree in the field of commerce. Graduates of non-business degrees who are seeking a career involving regular contact with the business community will benefit from knowledge of the principles behind commercial and business practice. Completing the Graduate Certificate in Commerce will provide you with the skills required by employers and needed for continuous career advancement.

Students of the Graduate Certificate will broaden past educational experience by learning the principles behind commercial and business practice in the areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing.

The program comprises one semester of full-time study (or equivalent) of foundation courses from the Master of Commerce program. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate may count the courses toward the Master of Commerce and choose to graduate with the Masters award instead (if the degree reuqirements are fulfilled).

Program Structure

Four courses (12 units) chosen from: Accounting Concepts & Methods, Accounting Essentials for Decision Making, Principles of Finance, Economic Principles, Management Practice, Marketing Principles, Quantitative Methods.
