Barr Smith Library 24/7 Computer Suite

In the second half of 2006, Property Services began and completed a 24-hour computer suite in the Barr Smith Library, involving refurbishment, service upgrades, IT installation and security systems installation.

Providing students with free 24-hour access to computing facilities within the secure Barr Smith environment, the $400K project delivers on the ‘student focus’ of the University’s Strategic Development Plan, and indicates the direction in which the University’s student information systems and facilities are heading.
