Bonython Hall - Install Air Conditioning 

The air-conditioning design is based on the displacement method, which is the most effective in terms of initial cost and life cycle cost, for this type of application. The system draws fresh air via the two northern turrets, distributing low velocity high volume tempered air via the floor grilles in the main hall.

The areas of the hall that were air-conditioned are:

• Main Hall
• Dais
• Ground floor aisles
• Southern Gallery
• Trancept Galleries
• Basement Gowns Room

Construction work commenced on 15 August 2005 and was completed on 30 November 2005 at a cost of approximately $1.4M
