The upgrade of 10 Pulteney Street requires the decanting of a number of academic and administrative groups.  One of the key principles in the decanting process is to locate academic groups as close to the North Terrace Campus as possible. 

230 North Terrace is the proposed location for a number of HUMSS research groups.  The relocation of International Office to the Hughes Building will provide space for this decanting process.  The location of the International Office within Hughes also enables student interface to be consolidated on the North Terrace Campus, as well as supporting a colocation of HUMSS groups within the Napier Ligertwood Precinct. 

The procurement for this project will be as a variation to the Major Projects Relocations Project.
