Campus Maps
The printed maps are available folded only and stocks are renewed annually. Previous year’s stock should be destroyed to avoid problems with misinformation. The arrival of the maps is advertised within Inside Adelaide and email advice is circulated to department heads.
Notification of Revisions
In mid October each year, revisions to the maps are called for via emails to department heads and an advertisement in Inside Adelaide. Revisions and/or errors need to be advised by marking the map concerned in red ink and forwarding to this department for collation and reprinting.
Approval for Publication of Campus Maps
If you would like to use the maps in one of your publications you must obtain permission from this department.
Applications should state:-
- The nature of the publication
- How the map is to be utilised
- Publication date and numbers to be produced
- Expected life of the publication
- Colour or black & white production.
The major conditions of use are:-
- Maintain the geometry of the map. The visual scale is to be maintained so the map will maintain the correct reference of distance
- Maintain the colours (B & W excepted) to match the University's corporate look and feel
- If modifications are required then the following guidelines should be observed:
- any information that is hidden or partially obscured should be relocated for reference or removed completely to avoid confusion
- Legends or Keys with symbols and descriptions need to be correct for the map issued
- Any obscured reference needs to be corrected to remove any ambiguity
- All publications, whether printed or electronic must have copyright noted thereon (Copyright © The University of Adelaide)

Any suggestions regarding improvements will be considered and those that can be incorporated, within established guidelines will be taken up.
