Documents/records - Online
Dataviewer, a web enabled database of documents, is available for use by authorised
personnel.
Maintained Drawings:- All drawings are indicative only and all dimensions have to be site checked.
Buildings
- Floor plans: Basic plan layouts with doors, windows and fixed furniture
- Power and Lighting: Indicate outlets and light switching with circuitry and distribution board identification
- Essential Safety Provisions: Specific items of maintenance
- Floor Surfaces: Currently used to identify the type of surface to be cleaned
- Occupancy: These identify the Faculty/School or Division/Section occupying or is responsible for each space
Sites
- Land Titles: Indicate the land and CT with buildings over-laid. There is a mixture of content.
- Under Ground Services (UGS): Generally these have been combined into one master image that allows larger areas to be combined more easily than with separate plans.
- Vegetation:
Historic or Non Maintained Drawings These are drawings dating from the earliest days of the University pre 1850's to current. Drawn by both external consultants and University staff, they have been scanned and indexed. More than 17000 drawings are available for viewing.
Buildings
- Architectural: Proposals, sketches, elevations, details, etc.
- Engineering Services: Power, lighting, structural, mechanical, plumbing, etc
Sites
- Surveys: Engineering services, contours, etc.
- Developments: Architectural concepts and competition sketches, etc.
- Master plans: Planning and architectural
- And many other unique subjects
Operations & Maintenance Manuals:-

All operation & maintenance manuals, received and indexed by Facilities
Records, are available for viewing and photocopying. These DO NOT cover every
building or discipline but are worthwhile referencing if the asset being looked
at has manuals available.
Reports:- 
All reports and reviews are indexed and accessed via Dataviewer though very
few are available for viewing online at the present. Indexing is an ongoing
process. If you are looking for a specific report contact FR.
Specifications:- 
Are NOT indexed in Dataviewer and are stored off campus. Arrangements need
to be made for retrieval. Allow 3 to 5 days. Contact Property Services on Ph

Online Viewing of Documents -
using Dataviewer
Access to all documents is via a secure account which requires an application
to be forwarded to Facilities
Records. Identification and written authority from the relevant University
staff is required.
To view the drawings you will require Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or better on your PC and a copy of Dataviewer software (does not work on Macintosh PC). To install this software on your PC, please take the following steps:
- Choose the 'Save' option when downloading pp_viewer_setup
- Close Internet Explorer if it is running on your PC (installation cannot go ahead with this application running)
- 'Double-Click' on the saved file and follow the prompts to install the Dataviewer application
- Once complete, open your Internet Explorer and enter the following link into the Address bar: DataViewer
