Summary

Building

Report every room, identifying:- room type, area, room number, the occupying Faculty or Division, School or Section and Discipline or Department.

Each level or floor is summarised to nett & gross areas and effeciency, with the building summarised to NETT, GROSS and NETT UNUSABLE and overall efficiency

The listing is of each major identifiable area of operation of the University and labelled as a "Campus"

Occupier

Report every room occupied by a department. Each building occupied is listed and totalled as the total occupied space.

The listing is of all identified organisational units. Different levels of organisational reports. Overview at Faculty/Division (Campus by building); at School/Section (Campus by building); Detailed at Disipline/Dept. (Campus/Building/level/room)

NOTE: No audit or survey has been carried out since 2001. Identified occupiers may not match the current official organisational structure. Data is maintained as changes are advised.

These reports cover a range of information.

NOTE: All areas are summed by "campus" which is a defined collection of like facilities, not necessairly all in one geographic location or site. e.g. Hospitals.

All information is provided in good faith and is presented as seen. For the reasons of information flow and resources the information cannot be 100% correct so please, if it is imperative that latest data be made available contact the Manager on extn 34247

Reports are generated from SPAM and are a snapshout in time of all buildings and how the space within is used.

As with all medium to large organisations tracking churn of space function and occupancy is difficult and thus it is only practical to provide a snapshot twice a year. Student census dates of March 31 and August 31 are the targets.
