Highbury Clinic

Located in the Family Practice Unit
1009, Lower North East Road
Highbury, SA
Phone: 82639388

Established in 2001, the Clinic is situated in a community medical general practice and houses the first psychologist to be fully integrated into a general practice environment in Australia. Our psychologists are part of a team of physiotherapists, nursing and various other visiting specialists. Staff work side by side among first rate facilities, in a friendly, professional and efficient environment. Master of Psychology students, several of whom have undertaken their thesis at the Clinic, attend for placement experience and training, where they learn about general practice, and the effective management of private practice.

CTAD Clinic

Located at the Thebarton Campus

The Centre for Treatment of Anxiety and Depression (CTAD) is a joint initiative between the Faculty of Health Science's School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide and the Central Northern Adelaide Health Service.

The Centre's main focus will be treating patients suffering anxiety and depression using a method known as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This therapy lasts between 8 to 12 weeks, and has produced significant empirical evidence of success in the treatment of anxiety and depression.
