These dates outline when enrolment opens/close, last day to withdraw from courses without fail, exam and supplementary exam periods as well as semester dates for the current and next year.
It has also been decided by the School of Psychology that all students in the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program, or in the Master of Psychology (Clinical) / PhD program MUST have police clearance as a condition of their acceptance into the program.
2010 PhD Project Opportunity
The Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men's Health will award a PhD scholarship in 2010 for a project entitled: Understanding Men's Health Service Needs: Analysis of Men's Use of Telephone Health Helplines.
The Freemasons Foundation PhD scholar will receive a scholarship that is equivalent to a Faculty/Divisional PhD scholarship with an annual top up of $2000.00. Candidates should have a strong undergraduate degree and an interest in qualitative research. School Seminar Series
All postgraduates are expected to attend the School Seminars held on Thursdays from 12.05pm to 1:00pm, in Room 322 Hughes Building.
Excellence in Tutoring Award
The School of Psychology Excellence in Tutoring Award is awarded to one tutor
each year. It recognises demonstrated excellence in the tutoring of
undergraduate psychology students. The prize is valued at $500. Selection for
the award is based on SELTs, evidence of core competencies and a teaching
