Psychology Research Interests

I am specifically interested in mathematical and computational issues surrounding the acquisition, understanding and use of natural language by humans, especially those issues relating to semantics. High level applications of these ideas which interest me are information retrieval and topic detection and tracking, particularly as the apply to the world wide web.

More broadly, I am probably interested in anything psychological which involves rigorous mathematical modelling and/or heavy number crunching.
