Psychology Research Interests

My current work encompasses discourse processing and embodied cognition. In particular, I’m interested in how people understand fictional emotions in narratives, using the embodied framework to explain this phenomenon.

In general, I’m interested in how embodied theories account for the comprehension of abstract concepts during language comprehension.
