Area of Research
My research aims to investigate the relationship between parenting and child weight-related outcomes, with the view to identifying how parents are able to prevent the development of overweight and obesity. The project will also examine whether parenting may influence psychosocial outcomes that can be associated with overweight, such as low self-esteem and body dissatisfaction.
