The Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF) is a national, non profit organisation. It aims to provide Australian children with entertaining media made especially for them, which makes an enduring contribution to their cultural and educational experience. Australian children deserve to see local stories and their culture on their screens.
The ACTF provides funding and support to independent producers and writers of quality children's programs.By helping these people develop new children's programs, we remain true to our goal of creating programs that children, parents and educators can rely on to be engaging, entertaining, accessible, creative and innovative.
Projects may be based on an original idea, or adaptations of a novel or other work. We look for originality and new ideas not already in the marketplace or currently on television. If the project is an adaptation of someone else’s work (such as a novel, play, character or concept developed by one of the team), the applicant must obtain, or at least option, an assignment of all the necessary rights from the creator prior to making an application. All projects must primarily target the Australian child audience and must, in our opinion, be likely to be of interest to Australian children.

The SHRM Foundation funds original rigorous empirical research projects that advance the HR profession. The Foundation is seeking grant funding proposals for up to USD$ 200,000 each from individuals and institutions.
The SHRM Foundation funds high impact HR research, aimed at an academic audience while also having direct actionable implications for HR practice, whether the focus is on addressing current challenges or understanding emerging trends. Any topic will be considered, however the grant must be for original rigorous empirical academic research that advances the HR profession. While aimed at an academic audience, funded research should also have clear applicability for HR practice and help contribute to evidence-based HR. As such, projects submitted for funding should have a high likelihood of both adding value to the HR academic literature (i.e., be suitable for leading academic journals) and yielding practical implications for HR managers (i.e., applied outlets should be interested in the research results). It is crucial that there is continuity between the research questions proposed and the methods used.
Eligibility

The Center for the History of Collecting was established in 2007 to stimulate awareness and study of the formation of fine and decorative arts collections from Colonial times to the present, while asserting the relevance of this subject to art and cultural history. The Center’s academic and public programs provide a forum for thoughtful exchange that may expand and further stimulate scholarship in this discipline. Through its Fellowship Program, the Center seeks not only to encourage research on the history of collecting, but also to expand the field’s still limited body of literature.
For nine months, select political scientists, journalists, doctors, federal executives and international scholars gain "hands on" understanding of the legislative process by serving on congressional staffs. Through this unique opportunity, the Association enhances public understanding of policy-making and improves the quality of scholarship, teaching and reporting on American national politics.
The Center offers short-term Junior fellowships (8–10 weeks) for graduate and pre-doctoral students and Senior fellowships (8–10 weeks) for post-doctoral and senior scholars. In addition the Center offers long-term (4–5 months) Leon Levy Fellowships for post-doctoral and senior scholars. In all cases preference will be given to researchers whose projects are particularly appropriate to the resources available at the Frick Art Reference Library.
Two short-term fellowships will be granted for Summer/Fall 2012 (June–October), one to a junior (pre-doctoral) scholar, and one to a senior (post-doctoral) scholar. Long-term Leon Levy Fellowships (one academic semester) will be granted for Summer/Fall 2012.
Eligibility
Fellowship proposals may address wide-ranging aspects of the history of collecting in the United States, from Colonial times to the present, and may focus on individual collectors, dealers, developments or trends in the art market. Interdisciplinary research subjects are especially encouraged. Applicants may come from the academic or museum worlds, or from other relevant professional backgrounds. They may be full- or part-time students, full- or part-time employees, or independent art historians, historians, and/or curators. Applicants may be residents of any country.
Funding
Each short-term fellowship for a junior scholar is $USD 5,000. Each short-term fellowship for a senior scholar is $USD 10,000. Each long-term Leon Levy Fellowship is $USD 25,000 per semester (with a maximum of two semesters) and is supplemented with travel funds up to $USD 1,250 (per semester) for brief research trips during the fellowship period.
Submission
It is a standard requirement for applicants to submit a hardcopy of finalised proposals to the Research Branch by the internal due date, accompanied by a completed and signed hardcopy of the University's Grant Application Coversheet.
