Funding from the Tobacco Industry

Approved by the Vice-Chancellor & President: 16 April 1997

It is a formal policy of the University of Adelaide that it will not accept research funding offered to the institution or to individual researchers by the tobacco industry* nor will it advertise such grant opportunities.

*excluding tobacco taxes applied by governments to support health and welfare related projects.
