ARC Discovery Projects for Funding in 2010
Applications due at the Research Branch 11 February 2009
Eligibility Exemption Requests - due at RB 12 January 2009
Non-Use of potential assessor requests - due at RB 27 February 2009
Please read the ARC Funding Rules and the ARC Instructions to Applicants (will be soon available) before and during the preparation of your application.
The internal closing date for Discovery Project applications is Wednesday, 11 February 2009.
Due to the volume of Discovery Project applications received, the Research Branch has introduced a new '3 tier review policy'.
- Full Review: applications received by 11 February 2009(please provide 1 copy).
- Compliance Review: applications received after 11 February 2009, and by 18 February 2009 (please provide 1 copy).
- Submission as Received: applications received after 18 February 2009 (please provide 3 copies).
Once you have received feedback from the Research Branch and have made amendments to your application (if required), you will be required to submit THREE (3) COPIES (1 original + 2 identical copies) to the Research Branch. All copies must be singled sided and held together with nal or bulldog clips (no staples).
You will also need to provide the following:
- Application Coversheet (to be signed by 1st named CI/ARC Fellow & HOS).
- Certification Proforma (to be signed by all Fellows/CI's/PI's & respective HOS/Employer) - will be available soon.
- If fellowship application with 50:50 or 75:25 option, written verification from your HOS approving this must be provided to the Research Branch (via email to Research Branch is fine).
 GAMS
You will also be required to locally submit your application on the ARC Grant Application Management System (GAMS) when you submit your hard copies to the Research Branch. Further information regarding GAMS can be found below. To log onto GAMS please go to: https://gams.arc.gov.au/
