ARC Reporting RequirementsThis page provides information on the reporting requirements for ARC-funded Projects, Fellowships, Centres and Networks. If you have any questions about ARC Reporting, please contact Research Branch on 8303 6283 or arcgrants@adelaide.edu.au. Please navigate using the headings below:
ARC Discovery, Linkage and Fellowship Scheme Projests (DP, D-IRD, LP, LX, LE & FF) Progress Reports in Discovery, Linkage and Fellowship schemes are required for each year of funding. However,Linkage Projects in Round 2 which have been underway for less than one year do not need to submit a Progress Report. Carry Forwards are required for each year when the ARC funds allocated for a particular year have not been fully spent and are to be “carried forward”to the next year. When preparing their Progress Report, Chief Investigators should consult with their School Finance Officer to see if ARC funds are likely to be unspent at year end. If so, a Carry Forward request will be necessary. The Research Branch Internal Signature / Carry Forward form allows researchers to request a carry forward and nominate reason and/or provide further detail if necessary. 1) First-named Chief Investigators & Fellows are requested to submit both: NB: For Linkage Projects with Australian Postgraduate Award Industry (APAI), the APAI must complete a separate APAI Report available from the ARC website (below). No electronic copy of the APAI Report is required but a hard-copy, signed and dated by the APAI, Supervisor and Head of School must be forwarded to the Research Branch by 5 December with the Progress Report. 2) ARC Progress Report templates and instructions are available via the link: 3) Internal Signature / Carry Forward Forms are available from: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/rb/docs/ARC-Prog&FinalReport-sigform-09-10.rtf 4) Progress Reports will be reviewed in Research Branch for batch submission to the ARC. If needed, you may be notified by email with suggested amendments/additions and requested to submit a revised hardcopy and electronic version.
Final Reports are required for each Project / Fellowship within six months of the final payment of Funds by the ARC for the Project or within six months of the final carry over of Funds approved by the ARC, whichever is the later. 1) Final Report Instructions can be found at: http://www.arc.gov.au/applicants/reported_requirements_finalrep_instructions.htm 2) Final Reports are entered on GAMS after logging on using your GAMS ID and password. GAMS can be accessed using the following link: https://gams2.arc.gov.au/ If you have any difficulty with GAMS, or have forgotten your password, contact arcgrants@adelaide.edu.au. 3) When you have completed, validated and print-downloaded the Final Report, please submit the hard-copy of the report together with a fully-signed Internal Signature page (http://www.adelaide.edu.au/rb/docs/ARC-Prog&FinalReport-sigform-08-09.rtf (rtf 148kB)) to Research Branch by the date requested. NB: When you “Local Submit” your Final Report on GAMS, there is no automatic notification to the Research Branch so we need the hard-copy to trigger review and submission to the ARC. 4) Final Reports will be reviewed in Research Branch for submission to the ARC. If needed, you may be notified by email with suggested amendments/additions and requested to revise the report on GAMS and submit a new hardcopy version.
1) ARC centres are required to provide five (5) copies of an Annual Report and one (1) signed CODIE* financial statement on the Centre's operation and activities over the preceding calendar year to Research Branch by 17 March each year. 2) Research networks are required to provide two (2) copies of both the Annual Report and the Financial Statement on the Network’s operation and activities over the preceding calendar year to Research Branch by 17 March each year. The Annual Report must contain information as per the requirements of Clause 21.2 of the Funding Agreement. 3) ARC Annual Report instructions are available via the link:
1) ARC centres final reports are required within six months of the completion of the project. 2) ARC centres final reports are completed on the template available from centres@arc.gov.au (not submitted in GAMS) 3) Research networks: The Final Report for a Network is the Annual Report prepared by the Network after final payment of ARC Funds or within six months of the final carry over of ARC Funds approved by the ARC, whichever is the later. |
