Ethical/ Safety Clearance Requirements
If it is a condition of the granting scheme in which you are applying for research funding, that you obtain relevant ethical and/or safety clearances, it is your responsibility to arrange them.
Please note that sponsors (eg NHMRC) will not release funds to successful fellowship/grant applicants until all relevant clearances have been confirmed and that it is necessary for you to provide evidence of ethical approval to ARI for this purpose.
Investigators are encouraged to ensure that they identify all relevant legislative and compliance requirements of the university and also of regulatory and advisory bodies in relation to their research work and undertake the necessary steps to meet their obligations with regard to obtaining the necessary clearances prior to commencing their research.
You are strongly advised to read the information on the University's requirements
